Marketing Product Manager


Job description
This multinational has an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Product Manager within the marketing team responsible for the management of card products and digital assets. This market leader in employee vouchers has the ambition to reinforce their positioning in the card-based (digital) payment environment. This versatile job opening holds room for maximum action and involvement to drive the development of the product portfolio and contribute to our future success.

We are looking for strong innovation skills, deep understanding of our customers, the ability to build successful value propositions and the drive to see projects through from the planning phase right down to the successful implementation and beyond. This job will include some international exposure by way of supporting product developments in other European countries.


  • Being in charge of planning, launch and evolutions of (payment-related) digital products (e.g. prepaid cards), features (e.g. mobile payment) as well assets (e.g. consumer app, client portal etc.) based on customer needs and business value
  • Monitoring and analyzing the market for new developments, needs and opportunities and preparing appropriate responses
  • Acting as the voice of the customer
  • Building value propositions and managing backlog (in terms of prioritization), compiling all necessary requirements and specifications into detailed descriptions of features and user stories
  • Working closely with various departments such as finance, legal, IT, operations, customer care etc. and competence centers such as the payment excellence team in order too build business cases, ensure legal compliance co-build sprints & iteration planning and monitor development progresses, analyze and incorporates feedbacks from field tests etc.
  • Managing the digital product and asset portfolio


  • Payments professional with 8-10 years’ experience & a successful track record of managing cross-functional, international and/or multi-company projects
  • Solid experience of prepaid product management and issuing/processing
  • Visionary, with “out-of-the-box” thinking
  • Understanding of our various stakeholder journeys (Clients, Consumers, Merchants)
  • Ability to work with many partners (internal + external), including remote work (via conference call, web and video conference)
  • Proactive & able to take initiative
  • Relevant business/computer science degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
