Location Sales Manager (Inside Sales)


Our client is Swedish parcel solution with digitalized lockers connected by sophisticated software that allows the user to know with precision when the order is ready for pickup. With their recent entry into the Netherlands and with the acquisition of Red Je Pakketje, the Location sales team plays a vital role in making sure everyone has a locker nearby their home, and therefore in the growth of the company.

This team is expected to continue to grow and they are in need of a Manager. Hopefully that is where you come in.

What you will be doing:

Your task is to lead our Location Sales Associates in Amsterdam and make sure that the team continues to deliver high results. Your job will be to motivate, coach and develop the team as it continues to increase in size.

Working closely with the Network and BI department, you will perform analyses of the different markets and devise sales strategies based on those analyses. You will also make sure that those strategies are carried out by the team in a coordinated and structured way in order to assure maximum impact and efficiency. Additionally you will be working closely with our merchant sales organisation, coordinating new partner on-boardings and making sure that we increase coverage across the Netherlands. 

As such your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Coaching team members to develop their skills and motivate them to achieve higher results

  • Recruit, onboard and train new team members 

  • Coordinate with various departments to analyse the market

  • Implement sales strategies together with the team in order to increase our locker presence in the Dutch Market

Who you are

In short, we are looking for someone amazing. They will refer to you as a cultural torch bearer who always ensures that your team has the tools, skills and insight necessary in order to perform their job with high efficiency.

Moreover we would like to see evidence of the following in your background:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing an inside sales team

  • A track record of achieving and/or beating targets
    Previous exposure to analytical tasks such as consumer/market segmentation

  • Interpersonal and coaching skills that have contributed to increased sales results

  • Experience from managing a team across multiple locations is meriting but not a necessity for this role. We trust that you can use your skills to develop people over hangout calls as well as in person.
