This organisation is growing and expanding its innovative pay after delivery solutions in The BeNeLux. To further facilitate our growth, we are looking to strengthen our team in The Netherlands with a new Key Account Manager. If you thrive in an expansive, fast-paced international company working with some of the world’s largest companies while also frequently throwing yourself into the detail on day- to-day operations, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will oversee and ensure that our client’s collaboration with us are working well and where possible expanding into new territories or industries. At the same time, you shall monitor the market, have a proactive approach to relationship management and feel comfortable engaging with clients in different industries and demands.
As a Key Account Manager, you will work both with our international teams and the BeNeLux division. For you to succeed in this position, you are used to work in a multilateral organisation, have a strong commercial profile and natural relationship management skills. It is also encouraged to have a technical understanding and “go-getter” attitude daring to challenge the status quo.
Develop, manage and strengthen the relationship with Key clients, decision makers and stakeholders across the BeNeLux region
Understand the business, provide strategic analysis and make compelling recommendations
Identify new business opportunities within the existing client portfolio
Deep understanding of customers’ strategies, business model and underlying challenges
Serve as escalation point, resolve client issues and complaints
Partner with cross-functional teams to support and grow accounts into a lighthouse clients
Prepare, develop and execute account strategy plans
Collaborate with the wider mother- sales organisation in the Nordics and Europe
5+ years of experience in Key Account Management
Proven experience in managing large accounts and/or IT projects
Skills and Qualifications
A business focused personality that enjoys supporting sales teams in a high - paced international environment
Demonstrated consulting, leadership and client management skills
A self-motivated personality that can master a lot of variables and a structured chaos
A natural drive to take ownership and push initiatives over the finish line
An outspoken person with excellent presentation skills
Academic degree, preferably in Economics/Marketing/Sales
Willingness to travel when needed, sometimes extensively
You are fluent in both English and Dutch
